‘National and international speakers to discuss Energy Efficiency in South Africa'

The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership and the Sustainable Energy Regulation Network will host a workshop “Policy and Regulation for Energy Efficiency in Southern Africa” in Johannesburg, 9-10 July 2009.

This workshop will start with an introductory session on the current status of Energy Efficiency Policy and Regulation in South Africa compared to other countries, then deal with presentations on existing Financing and Market Mechanisms for energy efficiency.  

The second day will present existing Demand Side Management projects in South Africa and then focus on how to implement and measure energy efficiency.
